About The Role
The Business Development Manager – Hospitality is responsible for the regional management and execution of the National Key Account Strategy in the industry group hospitality.
Hospitality group consists of the following industry segments:
- Restaurant Groups
- Pub Groups
- Clubs
- Full Service Hotels
- Limited Service Hotels
- Hospitality Groups
The Primary focus of the role is to identify, establish, manage and maintain customer relationships and business opportunities with our identified new and existing Key Account customer groups.
Acting as the trusted advisor you are responsible for delivering a great Comcater Customer Experience.
This will include, identification, development, growth and management of new and existing Key Accounts aligned to our market strategy. Marketing and Sales prospecting to create specification and preference of Comcater product & services that deliver great operational solutions.
Design, implement and manage Preferred Partner Agreements and assist in creating and managing the supply channel for strategic customer accounts. Maximise and leverage customer relationships to grow sales volumes, profitability, market share and customer loyalty.
The Business Development Manager will actively participate in National and Regional planning for the Key Account Segments within the Hospitality Group. They will be responsible for development and implementation of the regional business development plan in line with the National Strategy and market approach.
The BDM will work as a member of the Regional Sales team, communicating and ensuring alignment between National Key Accounts and Regional Sales Team to achieve companies’ sales plans.
Skills And Experience
- Computer literate (i.e., Microsoft Office). Experience with Salesforce, CRM or similar
- Project Management skills and/or experience and/or qualifications – desirable
- Proven experience and success in account management and business development with a history of creating business growth
- Experience in capital equipment sales to major corporate accounts
- Extensive knowledge of the Australian food service industry and experience in capital equipment sales to major corporate accounts
- Understanding of the business-to-business sales process within large organizations, including tender development and submission
- Experience in Catering & Hospitality Industry
- A high level of product, industry and market knowledge
- Project Management skills and/or experience and/or qualifications – desirable

Qualifications
