About the Technical Services Team
At Comcater, customers are our number one priority.
Our Technical Services team engages directly with customers and dealers across the entire product life cycle, utilising the latest innovations in technology so that we can support them to address installation, service and maintenance issues.
We also provide comprehensive user training for key products, to ensure that our customers can gain the maximum value and ease of use from their purchases with us.
Spanning delivery, education, maintenance and repair, our key work areas include:
- Spare parts supply
- Field servicing by qualified tradespeople and technical specialists (installation, maintenance, repairs)
- Customer contact and advice centre
About The Role
Our Service technicians provide technical servicing and advice to customers by carrying out installs and repairs on a broad range of equipment distributed to them through Comcater.
They are also responsible for providing technical support to our dealer/sales network to ensure equipment installation is aligned with our manufacturers’ specifications.
Skills And Experience
- Knowledge of the food equipment/ catering industry
- Ability to read and interpret equipment wiring diagrams and servicing manual
- Knowledge of the commercial catering equipment industry or demonstrate the ability to be able to learn the skills necessary to achieve in this specific field
- Require a high level of problem solving and fault finding ability in order to be able to provide our customers with the highest level of service
- Able to read and interrupt equipment wiring diagrams and service manuals in order to effectively diagnose equipment issue
- Required to have a high level of understanding relating to their specific trade qualification
Qualifications
- Technicians require formal Trade Qualifications received from a recognized Australian institution and must be valid for the state in which they work.
