Evolution Facility Management is associated with the Maroon Group of companies and provides unique and specialised solutions in catering and accommodation services to the most remote of locations. At this point in time, mining site facility management represents the company’s main focus.
“Many people who work for the mines are hundreds of miles away from home so we try to bring hospitality culture to the outback, we treat them like guests and not workers,” explained Business Development Manager Michael Fletcher. “Logistics is definably one of the biggest challenges for us at the moment that is delivering products to remote sites whilst keep in control associated freight costs.”
With more mouths to feed than ever, Michael was asked to find suitable equipment to help facilitate this production increase. Having worked with Comcater previously, Michael did not hesitate to contact us again.
“I have used Comcater equipment spanning many years over the course of my career. The Gold Coast Convention Centre was fitted out with RATIONAL, Garland Master Series and Cleveland Kettles which worked brilliantly for us. Not to mention, Jupiter’s Casino still has the original Garland Master Series cooking equipment that was installed 25 years ago!”
The key was to find equipment that was highly reliable and durable.
“With our mine site locations being very remote, the equipment that we choose has to be reliable and stand the test of time as we can’t afford it to break down.”
“These high tech pieces of kitchen equipment were created to improve the speed of service and are tools that we value greatly in our business.”
